“Robin was significantly instrumental in helping me perfect my career as a prop stylist. I particularly enjoyed our 1:1 training at her fabulous Manhattan studio. Robin was also accommodating on follow up emails and help with any questions I had. After some time, I scheduled a portfolio review to have Robin critique my work, which I found very insightful. My experience with Robin remains exceptional. Her expertise and competency, combined with her everlasting patience is a great recipe for success.” — Shainy Maiman, Brooklyn, NY

With over 20 years on both sides of the business, as a Creative Director hiring stylists and then working as a freelance stylist, I can guide you in laying out and pacing your web portfolio so it is geared towards obtaining editorial and commercial styling work. I will assess your current layout and shots to make recommendations and even give you shoot assignments where needed to round out your presentation, which is of utmost importance in getting work.

I will review your online presence— your instagram account, blog or web portfolio and make suggestions for improvement of layout, imagery and focus to better reflect your desired goals or career path. Sometimes it is a matter of re-cropping your existing images to make a better impact. I might suggest types of photos to add to your galleries in the form of assignments. There are many different ways to approach this session and you will come away with lots of ideas and insight. It is highly personalized for you!

Time length depends on how many platforms you need me to review:

A mini review is one hour and covers a look into one of your platforms, either Instagram, your website or ETSY shop. We will discuss your career goals and I will make suggestions for changes to make that move you closer to your desired goals. You will complete these recommended changes on your own. Additional platforms may take additional time.

A full review is geared towards the professional stylist with a web portfolio. It is more comprehensive and in two sessions with an intake process in the form of a questionnaire. After filling out the in-take questionnaire, we begin with a 60-90 minute meeting discussing your goals across all platforms, really diving into consistency and clarity of the visual message of your offerings. I’ll make recommendations of changes to make that will meet your desired goals. We meet again when the revisions are complete for one additional meeting to further refine until we are satisfied with the results.

Right after you purchase your review, I will be in touch to select a date and send you the in-take questionnaire.

“I’ve critiqued my own work ad nauseum, but when Robin did my review she was able to help me see so many things that I hadn’t seen before. I really appreciated that she offered suggestions on how to make improvements versus just giving me a laundry list of what wasn’t working. She helped me refine my goals to help me go after projects that were a better fit for me. Robin was both professional, yet easy going throughout the process which made for a great experience all around.” —Riche Holmes Grant, stylemaker and host of The Riche Life, D.C. + Los Angeles
